The Flavor Bible Turns One Year Old
September 14, 2009
This is a good book.

I just got an email from two of my favorite cookbook authors, Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg, letting me know that their book The Flavor Bible is turning one this week. I did a little interview with them before their event in the Salt Cellar last year, which you should check out if you haven’t already. They were really awesome people and a pleasure to talk to. Congratulations to Andrew and Karen for all the awards and praise for the book. I use my copy all the time.

Bugger that Owen
I am glad when you post anything. Keep the thread alive. I missed the first reference to this book, but will check it out now.
Ever hear of Writer’s Block dude? Give the man a break. Sometimes, people just need to walk away from a project for a while before the clarity to continue occurs. PS: Before you criticize others, perhaps you should endeavour to work on your own.
We’ll be waiting and happy whenever you decide to return to writing, Owen. I know that you are busy at the moment.
Lightly, you don’t need to wax poetic – you just need to post some pictures of the hottie that is keeping you locked in her room – been there man, nothing seems more important – especially food porn when you got porn – what’s her name?
Funny…the day you posted this is the day I picked up a copy of the Flavour Bible being held for me at the VPL. Been too busy to give it a proper flip-through yet but so far it’s helped me find good pairings for corn!
